PURPOSE: To provide a scroll compressor of high efficiency and low noise by disposing a discharge valve in the scroll compressor so as to eliminate a back flow phenomenon of discharge fluid in the case of insufficient compression, reduce impact noise to be generated in closing a discharge valve, and restrain a discharge loss.
CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor is provided in a discharge unit with a discharge valve 221 made of an elastic plate fixed at one end thereof in the longitudinal direction to a fixed scroll 11 so as to open or close a discharge port 112 and a valve presser 222 for restricting a valve opening height of the discharge valve 221. The discharge valve 221 is formed into a shape with a clearance between the same and a surface where the discharge valve 221 of the fixed scroll 11 us previously fixed in the vicinity of the discharge port 112.
