This scroll pump 1 discharges compressed air by transmitting the driving force of a driving shaft 4 to a movable scroll 10 through an eccentric cam 5 to rotate the movable scroll 10 around an eccentric shaft 6, and moving and shrinking an air chamber formed between a movable blade 9 and a stationary blade 13. A rolling member 15 is disposed either between the movable scroll 10 and a stationary scroll 14, or the movable scroll 10 and a housing 3. It is thus possible to assemble the rolling member 15, the retaining mechanism 16 of the rolling member 15, and a lid 17 pressing the rolling member 15 to the movable scroll 10 side from the same direction as the direction A in assembling the movable scroll 10 and the stationary scroll 14 to a motor 2 and the housing 3.
