To provide a device for preventing sea urchin from moving, which has a simple structure and efficiently prevents sea urchin having a prescribed size or more from moving.

The device for preventing sea urchin from moving is structured so as to surround a prescribed area with a movement-preventing means formed by placing a lot of corrosion-resistant hard sticks 7 each having a diameter of about 0.5-3.5 mm in line at an interval of about 7 mm to a length narrower than the height of the shell of sea urchin 12 from and inclining toward the movement-preventing side, and the length of projection is reduced, equivalent to the total of the half of the shell length of the sea urchin, a longest spine projecting sideward about 10 mm, to prevent the sea urchin from moving out of the area at the side where the sticks as the movement-preventing means are inclined, to other areas.
