Abstract:
To remove the restriction on the length of a rod pushed into the seafloor and prevent the rod from buckling in a seafloor ground survey by CPT.SOLUTION: A seafloor ground survey device surveys the seafloor ground by penetrating a cone probe 110 attached to a rod 100 into the seafloor ground, and comprises a cone probe pusher 20 that is installed on the seafloor and pushes the rod 100 to which the cone probe 110 has been attached into the ground of the seafloor, a turret 12 that is directly above the cone probe pusher 20 and extends from the seafloor to above the sea level, and a work floor 13 that is supported by the turret 12 and is above the sea level to supply the rod 100 to the cone probe pusher 20. The cone probe 110 for measuring the penetration resistance is attached to the tip of the rod 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
