PURPOSE: To heighten sealability so better, by setting up a welt and a finisher at the door side so as to overlap each other, while making a weather strip project from a base end of the welt and supporting it at a surface paralleling a flange part where the welt is attached.

CONSTITUTION: A welt 10 attached to a joining flange part 1a of a center pillar 1 is set up so as to be overlapped with a door finisher 8. A terminal of a base end part 12b of a weather strip 12 is projected out of a base end 10a. This projected part 14 follows the joining flange part 1a and indicated at a surface 16 paralleling the flange part 1a. Since the welt 10 and the door finisher 8 are overlapped each other, a door inner panel 6 and the weather strip 8 both are in no case sighted at all, thus external appearance is good enough. Likewise, the weather strip 12 is not elastically contacted with the door finisher 8 so that any scratches are preventable, no matter when seal reaction force does not drop.
