Abstract:
To provide a method for evaluating a seal gap of rotary equipment, capable of accurately evaluating a horizontal seal gap and a vertical seal gap in a decomposition process.SOLUTION: A method for evaluation a seal gap comprises, based on each various measurement data in a decomposition process of a steam turbine 400: calculating a horizontal gap between a seal segment 442 and a turbine rotor 420; calculating a vertical gap between the turbine rotor 420 and a bottom part of an inner peripheral surface of a lower-half nozzle part 430A; and calculating a vertical gap between the turbine rotor 420 and a bottom part of an inner peripheral surface of an upper-half nozzle part 430B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
