PURPOSE: To attain to reduce the variation in a measured value, by forming at least a part of the surface of the seal jig opposed to the liquid specimen applying surface of a multilayered analytical element from a fluorine-containing polymer.
CONSTITUTION: A carrier 10 is formed so as to receive an analytical slide 20, and the bottom and one side part of said carrier 10 are opened. This constitution is effective for the enhancement of the efficiency of an incubation process, the uniform application of heat and the enhancement of the efficiency in the access operation of the analytical slide to the carrier 10. The opening 12 provided to a part of the lid part 13 of the carrier 10 has function for easily detecting the analytical slide 20 in the carrier 10 in the incubation process. Therefore, by providing a fluorine-containing polymer so as to cover the surface part of the carrier, the variation in a measured value can be effectively reduced.
