Abstract:
To provide a seal having heightened flexibility of a design of the seal surface; and to provide a locking mechanism using the same.SOLUTION: In a seal (1) having a seal surface (10) with left-right reversal of a seal impression (15), the seal surface (10) includes a seal impression formation part (11) for forming a seal impression. and a background part (12) recessed more than the seal impression formation part (11), and the background part (12) has a background surface layer surface (12a) comprising a surface layer surface of the background part (12), and a background recess (12b) more recessed than the background surface layer surface (12a). A locking mechanism (40) includes a lock (44) formed by inverting convexoconcave of the seal surface (10), and locking and unlocking are carried out by fitting the seal surface (10) to the lock (44).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
