To provide a sealed battery having a fixing means capable of holding stably an electrode body in a battery container even at the time of vibration such as in vehicle running.
The sealed battery 110 is provided with a wound electrode body 30 in which a positive electrode 40 and a negative electrode 60 of a long sheet shape are wound round and a battery container 20 which houses the wound electrode body inside. An insulating member C1 is arranged between the outer circumference face of the wound electrode body and the inner wall of the battery container, and the insulating member is fixed to a prescribed position between the outer circumference face of the wound electrode body and the inner wall of the battery container as at least a part of the wall face of the battery container is pressed by the insulating member, and by the pressure of the insulating member fixed, the wound electrode body is fixed in the battery container.
