Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed cold water cylinder which is stably and horizontally placed in a refrigerator with a spout upside so as to easily and entirely pour cold water and hardly allow cold water to remain, and easily hold and incline a heavy container.
SOLUTION: The sealed cold water cylinder comprises a container body 1 with an upper surface part opened, a spout 3 and a plug lid 6 to open/close the spout on one side, and a sealed lid 2 to be attached to the container body. A side surface of the sealed lid on the spout side and a side surface of the container body on the spout side are formed semi-circular in section, and the other side surface part 4 facing the spout is formed flat. One of the entire circumferential surface of the container body and the sealed lid is formed semi-circular in section. The cold water cylinder formed in a shape with the circumferential surface of the U-shaped section continuous to the other is horizontally placed with a side having the spout 3 upside and the other flat side surface part 4 downside. Drinking water of small amount remaining in the container body is collected to the side surface side of semi-circular section, and poured from the spout 3.
