To provide a sealing cover body for a fire extinguisher discharge head which prevents the movement of air through the fire extinguisher discharge head, does not interfere with the discharge of a fire extinguisher since the cover body is released at the time of an abnormality, can easily perform an appearance inspection of the fire extinguisher discharge head and the like, and has a low manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A sealing cover body for a fire extinguisher discharge head is composed of a pedestal member, a cover member, and a packing member. The pedestal member has a bottomed tubular shape having a bottom surface part at one end on the side attached to a ceiling or the like, a hole part with a size corresponding to a shaft diameter of the fire extinguisher discharge head is formed in the bottom surface part, and a sealing member made of an air-impermeable material is arranged on a surface of the bottom surface part which comes into contact with the ceiling or the like. At least a part of the cover member is transparent or translucent, a pedestal member side groove part and a cover member side groove part, into which the packing member can be fitted, are provided on a side wall part outer surface of the pedestal member and a side wall part inner surface of the cover member, and the packing member between the cover member side groove part and pedestal member side groove part enables the cover member to be locked to the pedestal member via the packing member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
