Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sealant for liquid crystal display elements, which is excellent in photo-curing performance, adhesiveness, and moisture-permeation prevention performance. In addition, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element prepared by using the sealant for liquid crystal display elements. The present invention is a sealant for liquid crystal display elements which contains: an epoxy (meth)acrylate having one or more (meth)acryloyl groups in a single molecule thereof; an epoxy compound having one or more epoxy groups in a single molecule thereof; and a polyfunctional maleimide compound having two or more maleimide groups in a single molecule thereof, wherein the contained amount of the epoxy (meth)acrylate with respect to 100 parts by weight of the total of the epoxy (meth)acrylate and the epoxy compound is greater than 50 parts by weight but is not greater than 90 parts by weight.
