Abstract:
To provide an ink storage type sealing block enabling attainment of a seal stained little.
In the sealing block 1 provided with an ink holding body 11 which is impregnated with ink and stores it, the ink holding body 11 is constituted of a porous resin and has a surface covered with an impermeable layer 111 being impermeable to ink, and an oozing part 112 where the ink holding part 11 is exposed is formed in the impermeable layer 111. A sealing face 113 is constituted of the impermeable layer 111 and the oozing part 112. The end part 116 of this ink holding body 11 is impregnated with an ooze preventing agent so that an ooze preventing layer 117 is formed, and thereby oozing of the ink from the end part 116 is suppressed.
