To provide a sealing composition excellent in water vapor barrier property at normal temperature, and to provide various industrial products, in particular, multilayer glass and a solar cell panel whose end parts are efficiently sealed and which have excellent reliability.
The sealing composition includes a rubber component and a polyolefin obtained by polymerizing an alkene having 2 to 3 carbon atoms, and has a glass transition temperature of -40°C or lower, wherein the glass transition temperature is calculated as a peak value of tanδ, obtained by the dynamic viscoelasticity measurement of the shearing mode at a frequency of 1 Hz and a temperature raising rate of 5°C/min. A sealing material 1 composed of the sealing composition is used for sealing the end parts of the multilayer glass 3 and/or the solar cell panel 4.
