PURPOSE: To enable the device to be applied for testing the withstanding force against super high pressure by rigidly arranging a spool type pressure resistant cover to the end part of a pipe stand, wherein edge preparation for welding is preliminarily provided, and hermetically sealing the internal periphery of the pipe stand and the outer periphery of the pressure resistant cover via seal rings.
CONSTITUTION: The edge preparation is preliminarily provided on the end part 54' of the pipe stand 54 which foms a unitary body with a main body 51 so that its shape is suitable for welding of pipings. The end part is fixed and blocked by the pressure resistant cover 58, a load receiving metal fitting 57, and a nut 60. Three stepped seal rings 64W66 are mounted to the outer periphery of the pressure resistant cover 58. The internal periphery of the pipe stand 54 and the outer periphery of the pressure resistant cover 58 is hermetically sealed by said rings. Test pressure introducing paths 67W69 are formed through the pressure resistant cover 58 from the outer end surface. The test pressure can be supplied from a test pressure source to the inside of the pipe stand 54 through test pressure introducing pipings 81W83. After the pressure test, said pipings which are also edge-prepared can be directly connected and welded to the end part 54' of pipe stand 54.
