Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device which prevents dust lips from curing to the inner side and being damaged when a shaft is inserted thereinto.SOLUTION: A sealing device 1 includes: a body 2 formed by an annular elastic body; and a reinforcement ring 3 formed by an annular metal. The body 2 includes: an attachment part 4 which fits in an opening of an attached part; and a seal part 5 which closely contacts with an outer peripheral surface of a shaft inserted into the body 2 so as to slide thereon. The seal part 5 includes: a seal lip part 51 which extends in an inner direction along an axis line x, a first dust lip 6, and a second dust lip 7. The first dust lip 6 is provided at the outer side and the second dust lip 7 is provided at the inner side. An inner diameter D1 of the first dust lip 6 is set larger than an outer diameter of the shaft, and an inner diameter D2 of the second dust lip 7 is set smaller than the outer diameter of the shaft.
