To surely seal a shaft of a turning part projected downward from a bottom part of a hull and turnable around a vertical axial center.

This sealing device 8 has a seal ring 25A for sealing sea water W, a seal ring 25D for sealing lubricating oil L, and a pair of seal rings 25B and 25C arranged between both of the seal rings 25A and 25D. A space held between the pair of seal rings 25B and 25C is formed into a recovery chamber 36 for recovering the infiltrating sea water W and/or the lubricating oil L. A pressurized fluid supply part 46 for supplying pressurized fluid and a recovery tank 42 for recovering the pressurized fluid are connected to the recovery chamber 36. The pair of seal ring 25B and 25C are arranged in a direction for preventing the pressurized fluid in the recovery chamber 36 from leaking outside or inside a vessel.
