Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for a solar cell module which is enhanced in volume specific resistivity while utilizing transparency, cross-linking, flexibility, adhesiveness and the like owing to an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; and also to provide the solar cell module whose power generation efficiency is high, which does not cause reduction in production efficiency, and whose solar battery cell is sufficiently protected from impact and PID phenomenon is suppressed.SOLUTION: A sealing material for a solar cell module contains an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A), and a compound (B) having a poly (oxypropylene) chain whose number of oxyethylene units is 2 to 7 and 2 (meth) acryloyl groups. In the sealing material for the solar cell module, the content of the compound (B) is 0.4 to 1.2 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A). The solar cell module 10 includes: a solar battery cell 11; and a pair of sealing materials 12 sandwiching the solar battery cell 11. A sealing material 12 is for the solar cell module of this invention.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
