Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of the settling of a diaphragm of inner and outer seals for sealing a high-pressure air passage and a low-pressure gas passage at the time of high temperature in a rotary heat storage type heat exchanger used for a gas turbine, etc., to maintain the high sealing performance in the entire operating area, and to improve the durability of the diaphragm.
CONSTITUTION: A small hole 10a to be closed by the adherence to a housing 4 surface when the deflection of the diaphragm 10 of a sealing member exceeds a predetermined value to allow a high pressure side to communicate with a low pressure side when the deflection of the diaphragm 10 is the predetermined value or less is provided at the diaphragm 10. The periphery of the diaphragm 10 at the time of high temperature is effectively cooled with the air which passes the hole 10a.
