PURPOSE: To simply and easily seal a through gap part by forming a circular cut groove in a split member forming a sealing ring so that a calking agent may be filled therein, and by forming a wall surface adhesive part around the bottom section of the split member.

CONSTITUTION: A split member 1 which is tapered and which is in a half-ring shape, is joined with a split member 1 having the same shape so as to form a sealing ring 12. Further, the split member 1 is provided at its front end edge with a grip part 3 and at its bottom end with a wall surface adhesive part 4 having an adhesive layer 5. Further, the split member 1 is formed therein with a circular cut groove 2 having a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the nozzle of a calking gun. A pipe is held y the above-mentioned grip part 3, and the sealing ring 12 is moved in this condition to a wall surface 8 so that the adhesive layer 5 is joined to the wall surface 8 so that the sealing ring 12 is secured thereto. Thereafter, with the use of the calking gun, a calking agent 10 is filled under pressure into a nozzle insertion port 14 which are formed by cutting out the cut groove 2. As a result, a through gap 11 between a pipe member 7 and a wall member 9 is surely sealed.
