Abstract:
A pressure roll(3) on the movable(2) equipment frame(4) has a running surface(9) made of hard metal for pressing against a sealing strip. A stripper blade(7) for removing bitumen adhering to the pressure roll has a free end in contact with or slightly set back from the roll running surface. An entire pressure roll(3) may be made from a hard metal. The stripper blade(7) is a thin metal, preferably angled plate.
