To provide the actual article confirmation method of a steel pipe for accurately confirming an actual article by a simple method without making it necessary to provide any expensive system configuration.

This method for managing the production of a seamless steel pipe comprising a plurality of manufacturing processes includes: a process for mounting an RFID tag in which manufacture information is stored on the tube of the seamless steel pipe or a tube end protector; a process for transmitting manufacturing information stored in the RFID tag to a process computer arranged in each manufacturing line, and for collating a schedule with a result; a process for transmitting the decision result to the RFID tag, and for writing the decision result; and a process for ejecting the actual article to the next process based on the decision result.
