Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the wide-width curtain which has wide width of ≥6m, and also, has no seam and is uniform in transparency or light shieldability, and is suitable for use in various event halls and the stage.
CONSTITUTION: The curtain consists of surface fabric 11 and reverse side fabric 12 organized to the same texture by a double Raschel loom and a connecting/ coupling part 13 for connecting one end in its width direction, the surface fabric 11 and the reverse side fabric 12 consist of many pieces of chain stitch lines 11a, 12a arranged at an interval being substantially equal to width of the connecting/coupling part 13 and insertion yarns 11b, 12b extending over the chain stich lines, the insertion yarns are arranged in density being substantially equal to that of the connecting/coupling yarn 13a for constituting the connecting/ coupling part 13, and the surface fabric, the reverse side fabric and the connecting/coupling part have roughly equal transparency or light shieldability.
