Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device capable of generating suitable tension according to the prediction situation of the presence of a collision when the presence or absence of the collision of a vehicle is predicted and an occupant is restrained to the seat with the seat belt.
SOLUTION: The seat belt device 15 restrains the occupant 10 to the seat 13 with the seat belt 14, and has an actuator 29 fastening and unfastening the seat belt 14, a plurality of collision prediction means 38, 39 predicting the presence or absence of the collision of the vehicle, and a control means 35 generating the tension to the seat belt 14 by controlling the actuator 29. The control means 35 generates different tension to the seat belt 14 every prediction result of respective collision prediction means 38, 39.
