Abstract:
To provide a seat belt displacement detecting device allowing detection means to be easily set.
In a seat belt device 14, a seat belt 24 is displaced by the respiration and heartbeat of an occupant 16 and moved in the longitudinal direction in a slip joint 26 when the seat belt 24 is attached to the occupant 16. In the slip joint 26, the seat belt 24 is imaged by a sensor, and the distance of transfer of the seat belt 24 in the slip joint 26 is calculated, so that the biological state of the occupant 16 is detected. As the sensor is set in the slip joint 26, the sensor can be easily set in the seat belt device 14.
