Abstract:
To suppress degradation of tensile force of a seat belt.SOLUTION: A seat belt retractor is equipped with a spool, a motor that rotates the spool, and a control device that switches a current to be flowed to the motor from a brake current to a wind-up current for rotating the motor in a direction winding the seat belt around the spool, when the brake current is lower than a target current, in a brake control state that the brake current is returned to the motor while the spool rotates in a drawing direction of the seat belt. The control device switches a current to be flowed to the motor from the brake current to the wind-up current, when the brake current is lower than the target current and a duty ratio for controlling magnitude of the brake current rises to the maximum value, in the brake control state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
