To provide a seat belt webbing, stable with the lapse of time, and excellent in preservability, abrasion resistance, and stain-proofing performance.
In this seat belt webbing, treatment agent mainly comprising amino group-contained organopolysiloxane and amino group-contained silane coupling agent with inorganic and/or organic particles is provided in the webbing. The inorganic and/or organic particles have average grain size smaller than diameter of a single yarn of filaments composing a seat belt. Preferably, the treatment agent contains amino group-contained organopolysiloxane by 50-98 mass%, and amino group-contained silane coupling agent by 2-50 mass%. Treatment liquid containing the treatment agent and the inorganic and/or organic particles is provided in the seat belt webbing, and then it is heat-treated in this method for manufacturing the seat belt webbing having excellent preservability.
