Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide comfortable sitting feeling even in a drive for a long time, by tilting the upper part and the lower part of a main back so as to have a structure to be adjusted to a suitable optimum solex support posture through operation of a thorax regulation mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A seat back 10 is devided into a main back 11 which touches a driver's back face and back side units 12 which prevent a driver from moving sideways. The back side units 12 are fixed to side plate units of back frames 13, where a solex regulation mechanism to displace the main back 11 is mounted. A back driving mechanism 22 of the solex regulation mechanism is operated for tilting an upper pipe 21 for tilting forward an upper part of the main back 11 corresponding to an upper part of the driver's back face. A hip driving mechanism is operated for tilting a lower pipe 31 for tilting forward a lower part of the main back 11 corresponding to the driver's hip. This results in that the driver can keep a solex posture bending the back and shifting the hip forward to the driver's choice.
