Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat lifter device for a vehicle allowing its miniaturization and enlargement of a lifting range by widely utilizing a turning range of a sector gear.
SOLUTION: In this seat lifter device for a vehicle, a turnable link 4 and sector gear 5 connect a seat pan 1 on which a seat cushion is provided and a base plate 8 mounted on a vehicle body, while the sector gear 5 is turned with a spring brake device 13 provided with a pinion meshing with the sector gear 5. One end part of a spring 10 provided around a shaft part 6 of both the sector gear 5 and the link 4 is locked to the link 4, while the other end is locked to the sector gear 5 to turnably energize the link 4 toward the descending direction.
