PURPOSE: To surely prevent release of the opening of one rail taking place at the time of applying a large lifting load on an upper rail by providing engaging projections to project outward on the opening edge of the one rail, and providing restraining projecting pieces to engage with the engaging projections from both sides so as to restrain release of the opening on the other rail.
CONSTITUTION: When a large lifting load is applied on an upper rail 3, the inside facing flanges 2a of a lower rail 2 forming the guide space 11 are deformed so as to release the opening 10. However, the engaging projections 7 provided on the opening edge of the lower rail 2 are engaged with the restraining projecting pieces 9 provided on the upper rail 3. Hereby, deformation of the inside facing flanges 2a of the lower rail 2 is surely prevented. Hereby even if a large lifting load is applied on the upper rail, the slide part 12 of the upper rail 3 is not broken away from the guide space 11 of the lower rail 2, and a large lifting load can be supported.
