Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve failings of a conventional technique such that the mechanical strength of a seat is restricted.
SOLUTION: A seat for a vehicle comprises two frames 2a and 3a mounted in such a way as to be pivoted and rotated with respect to each other on the axis of rotation X by a pivot mechanism 4 with two rigid side plates fixed to the frame of the seat. At least one side plate 6 comprises an external relief structure 10 which is moved together by engagement with a complementary relief structure 11 of a corresponding frame. In addition, the side plate 6 is integrated with a single center fixing member 12, and a fixing member 14 with a complementary screw is screwed in the center fixing member 12 to bring a flange 15 into contact with the frame of the seat in the direction of the side plate 6.
