Abstract:
To provide a seating sensor capable of acquiring not only the presence/absence of seating but also additive information such as a seating position and the characteristic of a user.SOLUTION: A seating sensor includes: a plurality of electrodes EL arranged on a seating surface 202; a volume detection circuit 110 for detecting an electrostatic capacity of each of the plurality of electrodes EL, and determining the presence/absence of contact for each of the plurality of electrodes; and a controller 120 for acquiring information related to the presence/absence of seating of a user, and a user, based on the distribution of the effective electrode which is determined to be in contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
