Abstract:
To provide a secondary air supply apparatus for an internal combustion engine, preventing freezing considering outside air humidity.
An engine system includes: an air pump 42 sucking and delivering outside air; a secondary air supply passage 41 supplying outside air delivered from the air pump 42 to the exhaust system of the engine 10; an outside air temperature sensor 36 and a humidity sensor 37 which detect absolute humidity of outside air; and an ECU 50 controlling actuation of the air pump 42 according to the detected absolute humidity of outside air.
