Abstract:
To provide a device and a method for controlling a secondary battery, which can suppress the deterioration of a battery capacity of the secondary battery.SOLUTION: The secondary battery control device includes: a battery temperature acquisition unit 42 which acquires the battery temperature of a battery 10; a battery capacity calculation unit 43 which applies the acquired battery temperature to the relation (temperature-battery capacity model 51) between a preset battery temperature and an actual battery capacity which is a chargeable battery capacity of the battery 10 at the above preset battery temperature, to thereby acquire an actual battery capacity corresponding to the battery temperature; and an SOC width calculation unit 45 which calculates an actual SOC width in a manner to make a rated SOC width, which is specified relative to the rated battery capacity of the battery 10, correspond to the actual battery capacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
