Abstract:
To enable downsizing by building a battery protection circuit in a microcomputer.
A secondary battery protector has a voltage detecting means 7 for detecting the voltage of a power circuit 6 including a secondary battery 1, and a current detecting means 8 for detecting the current of the power circuit. The secondary battery protector is provided with the battery protection circuit 10 which opens the power circuit 6 based on a signal indicating overcurrent, produced in the power circuit 6, detected by the voltage detecting means 7 or the current detecting means 8. The protection circuit 10 is built in the microcomputer 13.
