Title:
SECONDARY IRON STRUCTURE OF MAGNETIC LEVITATION TYPE NONCONTACT ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6292703
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the effective levitating force of secondary iron by blocking magnetic flux, which goes into and out of the lower surface side of a main magnetic path section and applies downward force to secondary iron, by a ferromagnetic partition wall. CONSTITUTION:Secondary iron 14 consisting of a ferromagnetic material magnetically sucked and held so as to hold clearances 15 in clearance length G among the secondary iron 14 and magnetic pole sections 8 for a primary magnet body 10 is composed of a main magnetic path section 11 in maximum width W, thickness H2 thereof is formed in size approximately the same as that H1 of the magnetic pole section 8, and a pair of ferromagnetic partition walls 12, lower edges thereof projected downward only by height h2 along the side surfaces of the main magnetic path section 11 from the lower surface side of the main magnetic path section 11 have triangular sections at acute angles. Accordingly, magnetic flux phid going into and out of the lower surface of the main magnetic path section 11 is blocked by the ferromagnetic partition walls 12 and brought to approximately zero, thus largely reducing force downward applied to secondary iron 14 by magnetic flux PHId.
