To provide a secondary lid molding apparatus which is applicable to a filling and packaging machine capable of obtaining a sealed container sealed by covering a lid molded of a sheet-like lid material made of a synthetic resin on a container made of a synthetic resin filled with a content such as a soft drink.
A drawing means has an inserting hole or an inserting recessed part into which a lid skirt placed on a sealed container can be inserted in order to mold a lid for the sealed container sealed on the upper end opening of a closed-end cylindrical container body made of the synthetic resin filled with the content into a final lid shape, wherein the molded lid made of the synthetic resin has a disk-like lid body molded by a primary lid cold molding apparatus and a skirt provided into a hanging shape on the peripheral edge of the lid body. A twisting means twists the lid skirt and/or the sealed container body in a state that the lid skirt is drawn. The secondary lid molding apparatus has the drawing means and the twisting means. It is preferable that the lid skirt is heated before drawing and twisting processes for the lid skirt are conducted.
