Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the target-direction detection error of a mono-pulse-system SSR synthesis and to enhance the maintenance property of the title apparatus by a method wherein the signal phase difference of the monopulse-system SSR synthesis is corrected automatically.
CONSTITUTION: A target detection part 7 obtains a timing signal S4 which is synchronized with a response signal at a transponder 1 for test use from a reception video signal S3 which has obtained a response signal from the transponder 1 for test use responding to a transmission signal at a transmitter 9 via an antenna device 2, high-frequency reception parts 3a, 3b, an intermediate- frequency reception part 5 and a reception video signal generation part 6. A phase difference detector 8 detects the signal phase difference between the high-frequency reception parts 3a, 3b; it produces a piece of phase-difference correction data S5 which corresponds to the detected phase difference in synchronization with the timing signal S4; it changes the phase-shift amount of a phase shifter 4 by means of the piece of data S5; the phase of the signal S3 is made to coincide with that of the signal S4.
