Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select and use a shaped-steel grasping means corresponding to position relations among a head position and a tail end position of a conveyed section and the positions of plural shaped-steel grasping means, and to press down the section properly by fitting to the machining state.
SOLUTION: This section finishing machine, equipped with a finishing machine body 3, a material sending device 5 and NC device 7, has such a formation that the finishing machine body 3 is equipped with a cutting unit 9 and a punching unit and also equipped with a section grasping means for pressing down the section at the time of cutting machining and a section grasping means for pressing down the section at the time of punching machining, and that the material sending device 5 is equipped with a carriage 27 equipped with a clamper 29 with free movement and positioning and equipped with a position detection means for detecting the positions of the head and the tail end of the section, and that a tail end position of the section is inputted into the NC device 7 from the position of the carriage 27 when the head of the section is detected by the position detection means, thereby controls the position of the carriage 27 by the NC device 7.
