Abstract:

PURPOSE: To conveniently deform a piece of combination furniture with small force by providing slender members hinge-connected at both side sections with support legs, rocking wing-shaped plate members at both side sections, and providing the support legs with mutual connecting means continuously arranging a board forming a desk top. CONSTITUTION: Wing-shaped plates 2 are rockably fitted to side sections tapered upward, and support units 4 are arranged on two sections 3, 5 mutually connected by hinges. The section 3 is supported by a leg 3', and the section 5 is connected to the side sections 1 rotatably by a shaft 20 and is supported by the support units 4. The support units 4 are connected to the section 5 rotatably by a shaft 30. The desk or table section 3 is mounted on the support units 4. When the desk 3 is to be deformed into a bed, the support units 4 are loosened and rocked around the shaft 30 into the horizontal position, and the section 3 is rocked around a shaft 40 into the horizontal position.
