To obtain a security device which can detect burglary even when an artificial mistake occurs at the time of detecting burglary.
When a person enters a vehicle 100, a sensor section 101 detects the person. When the sensor 101 detects the person, a photographing section 102 takes the picture of the person sitting one the driver's seat of the vehicle. A transmitting section 103 transmits the picture taken from the face of the person and the prerecorded identification information of the vehicle 100 to a monitoring section 200. The section 200 fetches the pictures taken from the faces of pre-registered persons from a data base section 202 and collates the picture taken from the face of the person with the pictures taken from the faces of the pre-registered persons. When it is discriminated that the person sitting on the driver's seat of the vehicle 100 is not registered as a result of the collation, an information displaying section 205 displays the pictures taken from the faces of the person and pre-registered persons.
