To provide a security system with which it can be recognized by a person of a prescribed destination that no partial warning mode is used regardless of user's being within a security target.SOLUTION: In a security system, setting means of a residence controller makes setting by performing switching between a partial warning mode possessed by a security device and a warning release mode, according to a user's operation. In a monitoring center, acquisition means 2001 of a center device 20 acquires state information indicating a state of an electric appliance operated by a user within a security target. Determination means 2002 determines a non-use state where no partial warning mod is appropriately used when the state information indicates that the electric appliance is operated in a period during which the warning release mode is set, in a case where a state of not being switched from the warning release mode after setting he warning release mode continues for a prescribed period of time.
