PURPOSE: To reduce damage to seedlings and stabilize the seedling-planting posture to the field, in a rotary seedling-planting machine having a structure where plural seedling-planting units each equipped with a dividing tine are set to a rotary case and designed so that the top part of a dividing tine in the seedling-planting unit may draw a vertically long oval closed loop-shaped locus of movement.
CONSTITUTION: This seedling-planting machine is designed so as to reduce the moved distance (S) of the top part of a dividing tine 19 along a curve (D) of a locus of movement corresponding to a unit rotational angle (Δθ) of a rotary case 11 to (S1) when the dividing tine 19 passes through the position of a seedling carrier 3 and to reduce that distance to (S2) when the dividing tine 19 is inserted into the field surface (B).
