To provide a highly strong circumferential segment joint enabling segment connection operation in a short time by a simple structure and the segment having the joint.
In this segment joint having a male joint and a female joint in a joint plate forming the circumferential joining face of the segment, the upper part of the male joint is formed in H-shape in cross section having upper and lower flanges and a web and the lower surface of the upper flange is formed aslant. The lower part of the male joint is formed in a screw part having a screw structure and holds a joint plate so that the male joint can be detachably fixed by a metal fitting through an elastic member. The peripheries of the screw part form a closed space by walls and covers, and an engagement member forming the female joint is formed on the inner side of the outer side of the joint plate at a specified interval. The engagement member comprises a tilted surface engaged with the upper and lower flanges of the male joint and engaged with the tilted surface on the lower surface of the upper flange of the male joint.
