Title:
SELECTABLE AND COMPATIBLE ELECTRIC CONNECTOR JACK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3406553
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce crosstalk amount over a wide frequency range by placing an actuator for moving a movable circuit member from a first position of a housing member in a second position.
SOLUTION: An actuator means, which operates so as to engage with a low characteristic jack in order to move a capacity pad to a printed circuit board movable in translation and a wiring circuit, is mounted to a plug 36. A jack 32 has also the printed circuit board 37 movable in translation and an actuator or a stand-off 38. The actuator 38 operates so as to engage with a part of a low characteristic plug when it is inserted into a jack opening 26 in order to move the printed circuit board 37 to a position for introducing capacitance to a wiring circuit. While, when the jack 32 and the plug 36 define a high characteristic connection, the printing circuit board cannot move and capacitance is not introduced.
