Abstract:
To provide a new kind of androgen receptor target substance which is a selective androgen receptor modulator and is effective for male contraception, treatment of a variety of hormone-related diseases, treatment of diseases associated with Androgen Decline in Female (ADIF), treatment and/or prevention of acute and/or chronic muscular atrophy, preventing and/or treating dry eye conditions, oral androgen replenishment therapy, decreasing the incidence of, halting or causing a regression of prostate cancer, and the like.
The selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) compounds represented by formula IIa, wherein X is O; Z is NO2, CN, COR, or CONHR; Y is CF3, I, Br, Cl, or SnR3; R is an alkyl or OH; Q is CN.
