To provide a self-adhesive film for surface protection including a new self-adhesive layer having excellent balance between blocking resistance and self-adhesiveness.
The adhesive film for surface protection includes the self-adhesive layer comprising an ethylene-based copolymer obtained by copolymerizing ethylene with a 4-10C -olefin and simultaneously satisfying the following requirements (1)-(4): (1) a melt flow rate in a specific range, (2) density in a specific range, (3) a weight average molecular weight in a specific range and (4) a ratio (H/W) of the height (H) of a peak having the most strong peak intensity over a width (W) at 1/2 height of the peak and the density (D) satisfy a certain relative equation depending on values of the melt flow rate in an elution curve obtained by temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF).
