An identification data storing and holding means storing and holding the first and second identification data (ID data) for identifying the specifications of the products adjacent to one another fore and aft is included in a product such as a color TV or the like. The products are successively conveyed to a self-adjusting device 1 provided on every process, the ID data stored for every product is read out by an ID data confirming part 5, and the adjustment and examination of the product is executed with the working condition determined by a working condition software holding part 6 corresponding to the first identification data.
