Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cool preferentially the next-to-be-consumed portion of the beverage by comprising a directing means for directing the beverage so that it is flown to be brought into contact with a cooling chamber before the beverage is distributed from a container. CONSTITUTION: The liquid in a section 22 of a cooling chamber 20 is reacted when it is brought into contact with the chemical agent stored in a section 24, and transmits the pressure acting on a flexible roller film 30 to a breakable isolating means 26. The chemical agent in the section 24 absorbs the heat when it is brought into contact with the liquid in the section 22, and the beverage in a hollow chamber 12 is cooled through a wall of the cooling chamber 20. A directing means 28 crosses a periphery of the container 10, and is extended from an apex of the container 10 to the neighborhood of a bottom face, and the beverage is flown under the directing means 28 before it is flown out from an opening member 14 so that it is directed to be flown on an upper area between a side face of the container 10 and the cooling chamber 20. A ratio of the heat transfer area to the volume of the beverage is high, so that the next-to-be-consumed portion of the beverage can be rapidly and effectively cooled.
