Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a most suitable on vehicle self-diagnosing device by storing information when abnormal state is detected from various sensors, reading out the information at the time of later diagnosing mode and executing the diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:Analog input from a group of sensors 13, 14, 17, 18 is converted to digital signals. If the upper limit and lower limit of the values exceed preset values, the values are regarded as abnormal values and stored in a memory such as a RAM etc. When a switch 24 is set to on-state and becomes a test mode, various error data stored in above-mentioned memory are taken out and displayed, when necessary, in display units 25, 26. A maintenance man can know at what part of an engine etc. the abnormality occurred by observing the display.
